Restaurant bewertenWe had lunch here recently. Not bad. I had quiche and salad. All the food seemed good. Staff did seem a bit unorganised but it was busy. As with all of the Blue Mountains, prices are above avarage but if you are good with that, a reasonable place to eat.
We were a party of three for lunch. The lunch took a long time to be served and then the meals didn't come out the same time. My meal was delayed and only to find the pot pie was stone cold inside. The pie was taken back and came out hot five minutes later. When it came to paying I mentioned the incident which I think to the owner he did apologise with a response "well you enjoyed it in the end."Customer service and relations certainly did not apply in this situation!
Went with my husband and sister to lunch. Initially pleased with the cozy atmosphere. Lunch served - to two of us. Third arrived later - a potted pie, consisting of a puff pastry top and an icy cold filling. Had to be returned for reheating and more waiting. Still charged full price. Not impressed.
Quirky little spot, we came in because of the fire- it was cold outside! Staff were friendly and smiley. We got a seat straight away. Ordered no problem. I asked for a strong coffee, and the waiter assured me that if it wasn't strong enough, I just needed to let him know. The food did take a while to come out, but it was lovely. Clean plates all round. Pleasantly surprised when we came to pay too. Despite the public holiday surcharge, we still paid less than we usually do for breakfast!
Not a salubrious eating place but warm and comfortable and the food was quite good. There is a fire inside to combat the cold weather and they offer a good range of options. Our food and coffee arrived quite quickly and the waiter was friendly and helpful. Really all you could ask.
