Restaurant bewertenPlease excuse the following dissertation I very rarely find a restaurant I feel strongly enough about to post a review but, when I do, I try my best to capture every facet of the experience that inspired me to do so. ScottiBelli 's is certainly worthy of every praise I can provide! Let 's start with the food (naturally). We started our meal with the Vognole Marinate as an app (see pictures). It was a TRULY unique approach to the traditional 'clams in a white wine sauce ' and absolutely did not disappoint! The dish was truly delicious, and the bread that is incorporated into the dish was perfect for sopping up the delectable sauce that accompanies the clams. (If you happen to get Jordan as your waiter, he 'll likely tell you the origin of this truly unique dish). For our mains, we ordered the Gnocci Gorgonzola and Linguine Pescatore, both of which were absolutely spectacular! While my wife was reluctant to share much of her gnocchi with me, what she did share was the best iteration of gnocchi I 've had in my many decades of eating Italian food. My dish, the Pescatore, was outstanding as well it was seasoned to perfection with the EXACT level of spice that leant itself to the overall experience of the dish, without overpowering the intended flavors. Now, onto the staff thank goodness we couldn 't get a table at the sushi place across the street, because we would have missed out on a truly phenomenal dining experience. We were greeted at the door by Jordan, who informed us that they had 4 of their kitchen staff quit the day before and, as a result, were experiencing some delays. He sat us at the bar, took our drink orders, went back to playing host for everyone who came through the doors, and tended to us as quickly as he could throughout our wait. When we were eventually seated, I got to see the full scope of his work. Jordan was essentially working as a host, bartender, waiter and food runner simultaneously. In the 2.5 hours we were in the restaurant, I only saw him sit down once, and that was only to help a fellow employee wrap silverware. He was incredibly personable, especially given that he was in the weeds, and deserved EVERY penny of the 75% tip I gave him. In summation, this was one of the most resplendent dining experiences I 've ever had. In my hometown of Denver, we have MANY Italian options, and I 've been to a good amount of them, but NOTHING holds a candle to the incomparable food and service my wife and I experienced at ScottiBelli 's!
Great authentic cuisine, enjoyed our visit and meals, attentive service but not rushed, greeted by the owner on the way in, and Blessed by him on the way out. Quality ingredients, plenty of wine to choose from. Pricing was fairr for what seemed like a home cooked meal with mama's recipies. Recommend!
Guys, if I could give this place 10 stars I would! This place is wonderful, the staff the food the make you feel like family vibe, yes please! I would highly recommend it, we live in Denver
We absolutely loved our experience! The steamed clams, as shown in the picture, were unique, delicious, and plentiful. We also enjoyed several pasta dishes, pizza, and some fantastic bread. Despite the frustrating state regulations in Montana that make it nearly impossible to obtain a liquor license without winning a lottery, this restaurant still offers a wonderful dining experience. The staff was friendly, accommodating, and knowledgeable. We will definitely be back!
We enjoyed our meal in a cozy booth, starting with fresh bread and fried calamari as an appetizer. It was beautifully presented, lightly battered, and quite tasty. For my wife, the Pollo Gorgonzola was a creamy dish featuring braised chicken over risotto with mushrooms and a rich gorgonzola cream sauce. I opted for the Spaghetti Carbonara, which was absolutely delightful! Both dishes were outstanding and far surpassed our expectations. The only downside, which is no fault of the owner, is that they don’t serve liquor (blame Montana for that). I was hoping to enjoy an after-dinner espresso with Anisette, but unfortunately, they can only offer beer and wine. Please make sure to visit ScottiBelli's; I assure you, you won't leave hungry or disappointed!
