Restaurant bewertenAfter lunch, my friends and I decided to stop by Mochi for some Americanos and Fish cakes. We ordered 2 hot Americanos and 4 fish cakes, and were told they would call our number when the order was ready. However, after about 10 minutes, we had to go pick up our order ourselves. We found only fish cakes in a to-go box, with no plates provided. The fish cakes were decent, but given the high prices, we expected better. Unfortunately, our Americanos were forgotten and when we finally received them, they were only lukewarm. We were informed that their hot water machine was broken, and they had used a microwave oven to heat up the drinks. After asking for them to be reheated twice, we finally got to enjoy our beverages. In my opinion, if their equipment is not working properly, they should not be serving certain items. While they did apologize for the inconvenience, they did not offer any compensation.
During my visit to the restaurant today (Wednesday around 9 pm), the waitress seemed disinterested and rolled her eyes while we were deciding on our order. She appeared to just want us to leave quickly. Having worked at a Starbucks before, I understand the need to close up, but I always made sure to treat customers with respect and patience. The cream puff was good, but unfortunately, the waitress's attitude detracted from the overall experience. I would recommend better training for your staff. Thank you.
The name is deceiving, they don’t have regular mochi only mochi ice cream. I would have thought a place with the name of mochi sold actual mochi and not only cream puffs and ice cream for dessert. Service was average. Quite a wait for 2 cream puffs.
Try every puff cake. Strawberry shortcake is my favorite so far. Lots of Mochi options available ??
Great dessert and the small was enough for 2 people
