Jorna Indian - Ipswich

The restaurant is currently being leased to private tenants. Unfortunately, many Indian takeout places may struggle with the high prices being charged due to problems in other countries. Only the top establishments will likely be able to thrive in this challenging environment.

My go to restaurant, the food is always delicious, by far my favourite in Suffolk. The customer service is also amazing. Delivery is always early or on time.

I'm not sure if it's just me, but today's curry lacked flavor. I used to always order vindaloo, but I decided to try mild this time. However, the spice seemed to be missing. A spicy curry just doesn't sit well when you have a 300 mile motorcycle ride the next day.

After an 18-mile walk that turned into 20 miles due to a detour to Royal Jorna and back, my friends and I enjoyed a fantastic meal at the restaurant. The food was delicious and the service was excellent. I regret not knowing the name of the kind server who was polite, cheerful, and genuinely interested in our day. I am excited to return to this restaurant again soon.

Tonight was about the time I visited this restaurant and it will be the last. before we enjoyed good food and great customer service. the meal started well with poppadomen and delicious appetizers and then it went downhill. we and our meals were lukewarm or cold. our food was reheated (in a microwave I think) and returned. it was a delicious meal, but brewed by the temperature of the curry. at the end of the meal little was done about the sub-standard main meal times we all had, but we finally got some money out of the bill. when leaving the restaurant we were told that we did not come back or order a takeaway, as we would not get the food. I would not recommend this restaurant because of the bad customer service we have received.
