Roy Thai Ipoh Garden

Our first visit to celebrate a birthday because we had a hankering for Thai food. The strong reviews have not been disappointed! The restaurant is small but tastefully decorated and immaculately clean especially the washrooms! The staff was super friendly and very helpful to make recommendations of their signature dishes. The food came out very quickly and every dish was delicious! COVID-19 protocols and best practices were strictly enforced by all and observed for a safe and delicious culinary experience!

Bright environment, ideal for group dining family dinner. The staff were nice and polite. Food is served quickly while quality is well guaranteed. The set menu is solid and not much customizable, but the Pax for the set are well calculated for 2 friends of me and I had just enough to fill our belly for the 3 Pax set. Every meal costs around RM50 per person, which is slightly expensive, but the overall experience definitely worth the price. fyi: The spicy variant of fish is strongly recommended.

Fast service and tasty food. Papaya salad is good but very very spicy.

Tasty food, (tom yam could use more oomph) nice ambience, and relatively fast service in terms of getting your food. However, the main thing that ruined my experience was the fact that the everyone who works there is Thai. The workers can't communicate to save their lives. All you get is a blank look when you ask for something. The lady boss on the other hand is rude, snobby and lacks basic customer service. Her response to everything is to roll her eyes. This aspect needs attention.

Very delicious and authentic Thai food. The restaurant is also clean. Anyway, come back!
