Jefferson's - Hoover

Pretty good sports bar. Always busy with people. Many decisions. It will not compete with a hipster brewery of double ipas and acidic, but it is still nice to have many designs decisions. I have baked oysters as usual. That's not consistent, but that happens to seafood. This time all the bread just fell off.

The food was good but the service wasn't great. We sat for a while before someone came to take our order. We ordered appetizers and a meal. The meal came out and we were asked how everything looked. We didn't have our appetizers that should have came out before the food. The first time I had came here everything was great. Not this time and not sure it is worth coming back .

Pretty good. I don't usually eat fried pickles, but these were really crispy and salty and really good. The hamburger steak was good, the fries were excellent,the mac and cheese was very good, the beer was cold. Might go back for wings.

We first went to a big chain wings place and they were full of excuses and high prices. We got up from that table and left without eating. we really wanted some good wings so we got on Google maps and found this place Jeffersons. they were very welcoming and accommodating. The wings were big and good and we have found us a new wing place. thanks for not being full of excuses Jeffersons. we will be back!

It really turned a corner for the best when the new owners took over, but the last 2 visits not so much. The wings are still some of the best in the area, but the service seems to fight and their beer selection never seems to change or offer a little more craft in nature. Locals are great, but sometimes a change is beautiful.
