Restaurant bewertenThe gammon and scampi were perfect, and the staff, though a bit eccentric, provided excellent service. I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone.
I found this restaurant to be quite impressive. I went with my family and we all enjoyed it very much. The service was excellent and the food and drinks were served promptly. The atmosphere was cozy and very family-friendly. Overall, a great experience.
We made a reservation for dinner for both adults and children after attending a pantomime. Upon arriving at our designated time, we ordered drinks and were informed that there would be a short wait for our food. Despite the fact that the restaurant was empty, we were later told that there would now be an hour-long wait. We asked if the children's meals could be expedited as they had not eaten since lunch, but were denied because walk-in guests were ahead of us. When we questioned why we had made a reservation in the first place if this was not possible, the staff became evasive. We requested to speak to the manager, who refused to leave the kitchen and instructed a supervisor to handle the situation. Unfortunately, the supervisor seemed disinterested and claimed to be too busy to address our concerns. We ultimately decided to leave and will not be returning. The staff and manager displayed a shocking level of disrespect and indifference towards us.
My dear sister and I had promised to meet our nephew Roger at Heathrow Airport. Roger, who had been on a golfing holiday, was flying in from Florida so we thought it amusing to treat him to dinner at a golf-themed pub. After very little...research we settled upon this establishment and had Baker negotiate the short distance in the Daimler. Leaving Baker in the car park we walked in and were immediately told at the bar that there was no heating. This was somewhat inconvenient as Roger was dressed in shorts and an Hawaiian shirt but we soldiered on. Roger suggested we should all eat burgers as being in Florida he'd had nothing healthy for two weeks anyway. We reluctantly agreed. It has to be said that they weren't too bad when they arrived and our waitress was very polite and attentive. Dinner was punctuated by whoops of delight from the participants of a pool match in the adjoining room but apart from that it was quiet enough. Roger was glad to return to the warmth of the Daimler afterwards and we ordered Baker to take the long route to Surbiton to properly defrost him.
