Zachos - Hersonissos

One of my favorite place in the world. Every time I come back to Crete, I go there. Food amazing, but atmosphere is even better. Great service and Zachos (the owner) is the best owner I’ve ever seen. Very mediocre food and below average quality. Mostly touristic restaurant. As a local I wouldn 't recommend that at all. Food: 1 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 3

Superb. Visited on what we understand to have been the last night of their season before closing for winter. Food and service were both excellent and with complimentary raki and cheesecake after settling the bill. Thank you for a great evening, and we hope to see you again next year.
