Le Cafe - Hemmingford

We stopped at this charming cafe for lunch during our day-long drive and were pleasantly surprised by our experience.

A little difficult to get to because of a major public works project ongoing in Hemmingford,PQ in 2015 but a most friendly and very pleasant café. We had the Lasagna lunch special and enjoyed it very much. Special comes with a choice of small dessert that was also great but quite sweet, one was strawberry-rhubarb and the other a maple cake. Excellent baked goods. The owner greets everyone personally and checks later on your satisfaction. English-friendly but it helps to have a little French. Atmosphere is not pretentious but enhanced by original art works on display.

Had a tasty breakfast at an affordable price! The breakfast special was fantastic. The service was top-notch and the staff were very friendly!

During our drive back to New York, we made a pit stop at this restaurant. The owner and staff were incredibly friendly and accommodated our picky kids by adjusting their menu. The quiche was delicious and we were delighted to find that we could also enjoy a good cup of coffee, unlike the typical road-side options.

Food has always been delicious evey time I have gone. Nice atmosphere as well. A very nice place to meet for breakfast lunch or brunch!
