Restaurant bewertenGreat lunch time Dim sum experience...we barely sat down and had tea and carts with wait staff bringing us temptations. Great variety, nice atmosphere. We got there a little early, maybe 11:30 am but by 12 the place was rocking! This is an experience you don't want to miss...Authentic and delicious. Complete with chop sticks.
OMG - now 8.17pm and we've had greens, some pork and backed up with prawn crackers...thank God for the wine! The food is great, when it comes, but we are dying of hunger. Asked for Salt and Pepper Prawns, told they don't have them, saw them come out to another table! Thing is, just not us. Solidarity amongst the hungry. Shame, food is good but no idea of service recovery - bring me a free plate of prawn crackers! Verdict: great for a lunchtime yum cha, diabolical for a la carte. 8.50pm and we've eaten Happy eating!
Dinner with family and some new delights. My brothers partner is Chinese and did the ordering.Suckling pig with Jellyfish, San choy bau, Peking Duck, Roasted Pork with Chinese Vegetables. My only disappointment was the dessert which was like a red bean soup. I could not bring myself to eat it at all and thank you to Ryan who sensed my difficulty and brought me some watermelon. Now now night was complete. Thank you Ryan
The youngsters do a brisk service. The cart ladies serve it up hot. Food is good, prices are reasonable and makes a nice yum cha lunch.
I've been to EO maybe 4 times in 10 years and I've never had anything other than a good experience and nice meal. This time we lucked out and turned up just before the Sunday yum cha rush got into full swing. The frenetic trolley service is great to watch and the variety of dishes on offer was fantastic. We loved the duck and the sweet n sour pork was the best I have ever tasted. Hope I get back when next I am in Sydney.
