Restaurant bewertenFood was true home cooking.Great service !I had the French dip, it was excellent! And huge too.
The woman who was our waitress, I'm assuming she may be the owner, had the attitude that we were somehow an inconvenience to her wanting to eat at her establishment. She was rude to us, rude to our children. The food was mediocre at best but the bazar attitude ruined everything. Drive on is my recommendation.
Do not be misled! Signs says all are welcome when in fact they are not. Against our better judgment, we stopped. Based on other reviewers, I'm assuming we dealt with the owner. The older lady should not have anything to do with the service industry at all. She refused to acknowledge our presence despite our warm greetings simply because we wore masks (should have left right then and there). After she is done mask shaming us, she moves onto mother shaming and the cherry on top was openly and loudly talking about past patrons and cars they have and how she is entitled to a nice car (like the Californians) because she works just as hard and is BS she doesn't make more money Incredibly awkward. Food was decent enough, but honestly she should be ashamed of herself by the way she treats absolute strangers who just wanted to support their business. Check other area establishments before stopping at the Hoodoo Cafe if you value human decency because you will not find it here.
If you happen to be in the area, I suggest stopping at this restaurant for lunch.
The restaurant offers a fantastic variety of dishes. The service is efficient and friendly.
