Restaurant bewertenWe had a wonderful wine tour, tasting and lunch! The information was very interesting and you get a really good idea about the Chianti wines. The family is very friendly and welcoming. Definitely recommend going here for a tasting and tour!
Swedish owned winery in the hills of Tuscany on the way from Florence to Siena, one of the first you’ll see. Does it really matter that the owners are originally from Sweden? Not at all as they have been working the land since the 1980s and have embraced the Chianti way. Their Chianti Classico Reserve was immensely drinkable and bright. Paired with their inspired summer menu drawing ingredients from their garden (we ate there in August), I especially liked the fresh salad with grilled zucchini and creamy goat cheese. The main courses were unique and delicious too pasta with garden herbs and pesto, fancy rolled “crepe” with stuffed veal and herbs in a cream sauce. Topped it off with a parfait with sliced plums and wow, a unique Tuscany dining experience we will long remember!
From the minute we walked we were in love! Greeted graciously and felt at home. Food was out of this world, service was incredible. Wine was perfecto! If you’re in the area you must go!
We arrived just before dinner time at 18.30 to visit this beautiful, small and cozy restaurant for an apertivo. The friendly staff and warm interior give you very welcoming energy. Drinking on of the best wines called MM was a cherry on top of the cream. If would have more time, we would have stayed for dinner. More then recommend to everyone.
We enjoyed the menu with pairing wines in a beautiful surrounding in the Chiant hills. The food was well prepaired although the maincourse was a bit simple and small.
