The Pier House - Geneva

A few days before our arrival,I tried to modify our reservation.Online I was advised that the Pier House no longer had a relationship with Open Table.When we arrived at the Ramada,I asked the concierge desk to call over to the restaurant to see if we had a reservation.We did not so the man at the desk made it for me.I don't think I will use Open Table again.

Poor service. Ok food. Not a warm environment although great view.

Food was great -we shared the mixed grill as an appetizer items change daily). I had the salmon entree my husband had filet mignon. The restaurant has an outdoor dining area -we sat out for appetizers and then went inside to enjoy our entrees the insects were becoming a problem especially at sundown on Seneca Lake). Our server was very pleasant and accomodating.

The food was excellent. A beautiful evening on the lake was also a nice benefit. Service was ok although it took a bit to get the check. Overall a lovely evening. I would recommend and hope to return !

Was a great experience even had a band there. With that said we enjoyed everything but band was so loud it made dinner conversation difficult..
