Restaurant bewertenWe had to wait at an empty register for what felt like an eternity. Tables inside were dirty with seemingly no one in charge of cleaning them. The street tacos were bland. Service was friendly, quesadilla was good. 100% sanitation score. May have just been an off visit, but as a first time diner I was unimpressed. Edit: 2022 update. Much better experience this time. Chips and salsa weren't free but they tasted like something worth paying for. Lux guacamole was terrific although the bagel chips were way too hard for our liking. Make sure you ask for the extra things you want on the burrito otherwise it will just be meat, rice and beans. Mixed drinks/margaritas were pretty good. Bumping up 2 stars. Outside seating is great.
Wasn't expecting this place to be as authentic as they are. Had the lengua and asada tacos. Really good seasoning and meat. No chewy carne asada. The lengua was cooked all the way. Tortillas were bag tortillas but they were lightly fried which helps with the texture and flavor. Salsas available were tasty and some spicy. Tony was a great server. Very attentive and polite. My mom ordered a zucchini and something else taco, i think it was beans, which she didn't like and he quickly got it replaced with a lengua taco and didn't charge the difference. Place is pretty clean. Ambience music is subtle and enjoyable. Tried to go there on Aug 15th but they didn't have enough people available to work. Will continue to go here and refer friends to it.
Not even sure where to begin, for starters we waited a good bit before anyone acknowledged our group, we actually had to go get someone. The guy was nice and friendly but seemed overwhelmed, I do understand there is a staff shortage but he was literally the only server. The food was good which is why they get a 3 star but the tortas barely had any meat in it (picture for reference) last but not least the tortas were $9 but was charged $11 for them. I know $2 is not a big deal but their new prices should reflect on their menu or at least they should tell people before hand. The manager came over and adjusted the prices but was very standoffish. Will probably not come back, which is a shame because the food was pretty good.
New in the area. We were there three times and every time it gets better and better. The selection of tacos is great. We love to mix it. They have several different salsas. A big drink card. My husband loves the mushroom onion Queensadilla. I loved the beef tongue, chorizo, shrimp and queso Birria Tacos. Fresh and authentic in my opinion
Very surprised by these reviews. I ordered the Carne Asada and it was 4/10. The service was fine, but no cutlery and my wife asked for salsa for the chips and it came later. The overall service is passive, but the food is especially center. I tried my wife Queen and it wasn't much better, 5/10. We should have been on the border.
