Legends Lounge Grill - Gander

Legends is located just off the main highway, nestled within a hotel, it may not appear inviting from the outside as there are no windows to give you a peek inside. However, rest assured that it is indeed open for business. Upon entering, you will find a friendly bar where you can enjoy some drinks and snacks. We visited in the early evening and found it to be quiet as we had missed trivia night by a few hours. The service was welcoming, and the prices were very reasonable. Although we didn't sample the food ourselves, it looked appetizing from what we observed others enjoying. The menu offered typical bar snacks. The interior had a fun, slightly retro vibe with celebrity photos adorning the walls, a stage for performances, and VLTs for entertainment. It's a great spot to relax and indulge in some drinks and snacks.

I went for wings on wing night and had a great time. The atmosphere was fantastic, the wings were delicious, and the company was excellent.

The decor is old-fashioned and the beer choices are limited. The food was decent, but lacking in vegetarian options.

Most of the staff were friendly, but unfortunately, my server was not very friendly and I had to request things like napkins and utensils. Overall, thanks for accommodating us at your restaurant.

We arrived at the restaurant at 6 pm for our reservation for two people. We ordered drinks and dinner by 6:30, but then had to wait for over two and a half hours. I ordered the steak with a baked potato and a Caesar salad for an appetizer, making sure to ask if the mushrooms were fresh. I was told they were, but when the meal finally arrived, the steak was overcooked, the mushrooms were canned and cold, and the Caesar salad was made with imitation bacon bits, Kraft dressing, and packaged croutons. It was a horrible dining experience, and I was so hungry that I only took a few bites before leaving the food untouched. I will never return to this restaurant and would not recommend it to anyone else. I even have a photo of the disappointing meal.
