Woodfire Pizza & Pasta - Gabriola

Great place. the food was delicious and beautiful presentation of the dishes. the atmosphere inside is very cozy. the service is just that. “Mel” the waitress has a level of professionalism that can be found at very high endpoints. She was wonderful. we enjoyed our experience so much on Saturday that we booked directly on Sunday night. fortunately, we were back served by mel. I recommend booking in advance as it is one of the only places (if the only one) to dinate on the island in the evening. they created a jewel of a place with delicious food and great staff. I will recommend to everyone to plan a trip on the island.

What a dream that was. incredible food on an island that essentially shuts off by 8 o'clock! this quiet, cozy restaurant was lovely. make sure to make reservations, although it was pretty busy when we were there. the personal was friendly and attentive. Humboldt-Squid was the best thing I ever had to start! my wife and I shared the burger and the pommes, as well as the firetruck pizza (baked loose for lunch the next day.) we were so full that we had to skip dessert!

Jessica has an excellent service for my friends and me tonight. the food and the atmosphere were fantastic, I will definitely recommend for family and friends.

What an incredible culinary experience! this restaurant is a real gem, we are impressed beyond the menu and service! the chef is innovatiw and gave us the opportunity to eat outside the norm, from the crispy roasted slowly roasted pork bell with maple soy glaze and crispy cale rashes to the warm zitrus and chili marinated olives with freshly baked flatbread, and the fire grilled pizza! omg. next time we want to go for an unforgettable meal we go on the ferry and then to the wood fire restaurant, highly recommended!

Excellent food and presentation. We had the pork belly, tunnel pizza and seafood medley, all of which were fantastic. The service was top notch as well. We will definitely be eating here again.
