Mad Ronas - Gabriola

Not sure what was happening in the shave, crazy expensive also in this world of inflation. very average cappuccino with the additional fee for non-milk surpluses. next to 2 cappuccinos we ordered a trail mix cookie for an breakfast snack. we thought it would be. full of nuts and dried fruits, but we were surprised that it was really a chocolate chip cookie with a heel flakes. it was mentioned by chocolate in the description or signs. When I brought it to the servers, it was good. no offer to exchange or refund, it just had to throw away. with $19 bill for 2 average cappuccinos coffee and inedible cookie, they save their money and go elsewhere.

A couple of people swore about this place, but after we tried twice, we are not impressed. the worst was when I ordered a smoked salmon, a cream cheese and salat sandwich and it was served hot! what? hot cream cheese and salat? it was strange for me....It was a mistake, I asked it and was told that they were serving like that. odd. No one else in the family also enjoyed their sandwiches especially. the place has potential on an island with so few dining places, but I fear this place is not. as traveling we also hoped for a bit of internet and that didn't work when we were there.

I am someone who enjoys a good mixed coffee drink, and mocha is my favorite. I tried the mocha wrap at mad rona’s and I was blown away. perfect with a perfect balance of sweet aromen and coffee taste. so good!

This business has a great coffee, a large selection of food, friendly staff and a very nice location.

Visited this coffee shop during my visit to Gabriola Island In September, and was pleasantly surprised by good coffee and even better apple cake. Staff was friendly and efficient and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this place to anyone.
