Nury's On Main - Fredericksburg

The service was friendly but a little deorganized. the portions are massive, enough for 2, the fish was fresh and the dough raised. the plates were chipped, but the pommes were good enough to pull them off!

Nury is lovely! we have eaten at several places outside the main street in fredericksburg, and while some places are better than others, we feel in the usually kind of “meh” about most of them! we went into onlyys, and we were immediately greeted with a friendly hostess. our waiter was attentive without floating. we ordered the dynamite shrimp (appeared) and street tacos (pork), and oh my goodness, they were both delicious! we live in houston and have eaten our part in good eating, and that is right up with the best of them! more reasonable, really good service and delicious eating with a beautiful presentation! we will definitely return!

This place was terrible. my sister had the $28 seafood stack. it was mainly avocados and gurken with three garnels on the top. just below was the crab meat that looked like cat food, as you can see on the picture. I had baked coconut sash. when the plate came out, I immediately knew that they were nothing but frozen garnels that were so over boiled and had zero taste. my neice had garnelen tacos, they were just in order. rather sad than the best on our table were the French pommes. never again!

This place was average. I was not thrilled by the cochinita pibil plate I had. it was very fat and cold. in the did was the enchilada style presentation floating in fat. tears and bores were tasteless and cold. One of the other was the shrimp ceviche to die. I'm going back, just for every trip. chips were made to house and the taste is at the top of the thousands of ceviche I tried.

We were walking Main Street in Fredricksburg, and we got tired and hungry. We walked by Nury's, checked the menu, and saw tuna and avocado salad first thing. They were so sweet. They boxed it to go and brought it outside to me in a bag with everything I'd need to have my nice little meal in the hotel room. Hopefully, I can try their shrimp tacos next time. Cute little place with a friendly staff.
