Alamo Springs Cafe - Fredericksburg

Some places DO live up to the hype and this place is one of them. Onion rings were incredible and my Pimento Cheese and Bacon burger was one of the best burgers I have ever had. Friendly staff, comfortable ambiance. Worth the trip.

They advertise themselves as serving the world's best hamburgers, but I wasn't particularly impressed. The burger was good! The onion rings were fantastic, but the fried mushrooms could have been crispier. Overall, it was a great experience.

I was drawn to Alamo Springs Cafe because of their renowned burgers. A good friend of mine mentioned that they serve some of the best, and I can confirm that they do not disappoint. The burger was piled so high that it was a bit difficult to take a bite, but trust me, you won’t leave feeling hungry. In addition to the delicious food, they offer a selection of cold drinks and live entertainment. It's truly a hidden gem in Fredericksburg. Enjoy your visit and make some great memories!

What a gem we stumbled upon! We discovered this restaurant by chance, and I'm so glad we did. It's a bit off the beaten path, but you should definitely make a point to stop by. Their burgers are fantastic, and the homemade, hand-battered onion rings are absolutely amazing! I can't begin to list all the unique features that make this place special, but I'm really happy we came here. They offer daily specials, and I tried the pimento cheese bacon burger—oh my gosh, it was delicious! You can sit outside and enjoy some live music or grab a cold drink. Everyone there was incredibly welcoming. The cooking takes place right in the middle of the house (yes, it’s a house), and it’s all done in plain sight. You can even say hi to the cook—I did! Again, it’s off the beaten path, but it’s worth making a day or evening of it. We found this spot after visiting Fredericksburg, which made for a perfect end to a great day of sightseeing. Enjoy!

The garlic and goat cheese was awesome. Bought some of the pork rinds to use instead of bread. Also, burgers are the best we have had in quite some time. And live music on a hot Texas afternoon was awesome!
