Restaurant bewertenCOVID did not stop this place from great service and food. Wife had the vegetarian burger with sweet potato fries and I had the bison burger with regular fries. Mine was seasoned great (peppery) and...well my wifes was so good I was jealous I didn't order it. The mighty peace on draft is great! If you are coming through Fort St. John stop here...you will regret not doing it.
Went for dinner at 7. The place was empty and the main server went home I guess. The meatloaf dosh I had was undercooked in the middle but hard and way over cooked on the outside. The drinks were terrible. Worst old fashion I ever tasted. Wife's pork chops were practically rubber. We had to ask the floor cleaner if anyone worked there after sitting for 15 minutes at a table. Never eating here again and will vehemently recommend people never eat here.
I was staying at the Pomeroy Hotel recently, and this was a nicely sized restaurant connected to it. However, for its size, it only had 1 person doing service. I was here for lunch, and there were only two families already seated. I waited for 10 minutes at my table, before tracking the server down. She was obviously overwhelmed. However, food was prompt, and was very good. I had calimari and an Elk burger, and a chocolate Kaluha cake with ice cream for dessert. Put one other person on staff, and you'll have the wait time issue taken care of.
Used to be our go to for dinner or Sunday breakfast. Their standards went down over 3 years ago! Food is not good anymore.
Service used to be amazing and now you wait up to 20 minutes for a drink and after you get your food the waitress don’t come check on you. When she did come with our second order of drinks it was spilling out of the glass, table was full of spilled liquor. Finally she made her way to us and asked if we were ready for the bill all while we still had full drinks and we were eating. It’s sad as regulars how we were treated. Been coming here for b3 years faithfully but I think we’ll find somewhere more inviting.
