Carduccio - Firenze

We'd finished a walking tour and ended up in this area near the Pitti palace. The Sunday market was on and all we wanted in the hot weather was something that we would call clean and light. We ventured down a couple of streets and luckily found Carduccio's. It couldn't have been more perfect on this afternoon. Many smoothies, bowls and other dishes. Everything fresh here and presented nicely. We sat just in the entrance little table watching people walk by and getting a lovely breeze as well to cool us down after our long walking tour. I would highly recommend this as a step away from your pizza and panini type sandwiches. our lunch cost us 29.30 euro.

Lovely lunch here 2 of the party had ‘bowls’ and the third had an avocado sandwich. Really fresh and tasty food in a very pleasant environment. Recommended!

Stopped to get a “to go” salad for a picnic. Tiny little place with a few tables and outside back table—so charming. They fixed a perfect salad and were busy arranging fresh flowers from a nearby market when we left. Very special-a perfect Tuscany cafe.

We took a lunch as an alternative to the typical Italian restaurants. Not disappointed. Small but cosy. Great tastes in food and drinks. Honest prices.
