Restaurant bewertenWhile we were in st. hippolyte, qc canada for a week, we ate in the primo restaurant several times: breakfast, dinner. it has a diverse menu (in French) of various elements: omelette, pasta, pizza, sandwiches, gyros, salads, main courses...and sides. there are some daily specials written on a white board at the front, what we ordered in the rule. good tasting, easy eating with suppe, free and dessert at a very cheap price and plentiful. it is a place and the mozens are friendly and interesting. parking front or back when full. it is from post office and local food business.
We just arrived in the area after a long day on the road and were looking for a place to eat. We came across Primo not knowing what to expect but we were tired and hungry and went in. We were promptly seated and waited...upon. There were many menu choices from which to choose from gyros, Italian, fish and American dishes. We decided on the special which included soup, salad, main course and dessert. The servings were large having us to ask for a to go box. Two of us had the filet of sole and my wife had the veal parm. The meal was well prepared, hot and very tasty. This restaurant is definitely a local favorite as you could see many of the diners were from the area with their very casual everyday dress. My only compliant was the speed of service as there was only one person that served as the hostess, waitress and bar attendant. Once our meal order was placed our meals were served within minutes but we had long wait for our dessert order to be placed and to be given our check. Hopefully this was not an everyday occurrence as they were short on help this night. Would I go back for dinner again ABSOLUTLY as the meal was OUTSTANDING.
Close to our accommodation, delicious meals with large portions and good trips. bilingual. we went twice during our stay and enjoyed it both times.
We loved our stay. everything we needed! personal friendly and courteous, enjoy the cleanliness and delicious meals in the restaurant!
