The Tipsy Biscuit - Elkhart

This place is always busy. from good ground! eating is fantastic. I always have a hard time between hugging and wagging (sweet) or biscuits and gravy. the personal is friendly, the decor is good, the device is clean, and the eating is delicious! when they plan to stop at the weekend they call before and on the list! this place is popular, and it should be.

The food was good. The service was ok. They were a busy little place. I met up with a girlfriend I haven't seen since COVID hit really so we were chatting and it was so great to see her in person finally at a place she recommended. It took awhile for them to get to us but they were slammed all at once. What I didn't like was when the server told us while we were in deep conversation that our booth was promised to someone with in 8 minutes but she wasn't rushing us to leave yet me had less than 8 minutes to leave yet 4 other tables left around us. My guess is we were taking to long and she didn't want that to cut into her tips her money. What she didn't realize was I was a GM for 15 years and now making good money elsewhere so I realize the work she does and respect it. I have been known to tip quite well. Out if niceness you got $10 off two people but I have tipped up to $50 or more when treated right. I hope your next booths $5 or less cause I would have tipped you so much more!! I hope your rudeness was worth it so shame on you. Your loss! ? Next time you might wanna rethink but I do get it being in Elkhart... don't judge a book by its cover!

Fantastic brunch with family, or friends, or just for two! They offer quality renditions of classics such as biscuits and gravy, eggs Benedict, chicken and waffles, and many others! We enjoyed their tomatillo **** Mary's (complete with beautiful garnishes) as well as their locally sourced coffee! We plan to return!

Cute decor of nostalgic items. Small restaurant with minimal seating so plan ahead and get there when they open or wait. Adult beverages are great and food is fresh and cooked to order. Try the tots!

Really great food in a whimsical atmosphere. The people are attentive and very friendly.
