Stonefire American Grill - Elgin

This restaurant was closed for renovations, but my reservation was accepted without indication that the business is closed for months. so our whole amount came to find a closed door with a sign that they will be opened again in autumn. I'm not sure if the disturbance is with the restaurant or with open table, but it was a great inconvenience.

We had the ribbed medium good. it came medium that would normally be in order, but they could smell the blood in the steak. was not a good steak.

Fabulous Food 0 best steak and the fried deviled eggs were phenominal!

One if those places you go to and when you leave you say “Why dont we come more often”

I expected this place to be packed for a Saturday reservation, definitely didn't need a reservation. Food that we tried to order, they were out of. Had to ask waitress for everything at least twice. Bothers me because we had four in our party and there were only three other tables with couples at them with other servers. Very disappointed. Won't go there a third time.
