Restaurant bewertenThe perfect sandwich spot! Whenever I'm in the area, I need to stop by Cafe Rista to grab a bite and some caffeine! Simon makes the most delicious sandwiches and wraps. They regularly offer different special items, I particularly like how there is also a new drink on the menu.I've always had a pleasant experience at Rista!!
I love this shop! Haley is the extremely lovely and a great barista. Simon is a gem as a whole but also knows a thing or two about making a killer sandwhich. Please check them out, if you think you're cool enough ?
The hours are great because I start work at 8AM and Rista opens up early enough that I can come and still enjoy a coffee without having to rush. They have a peanut butter mocha that is rich and delicious. It's nice to be able to sit with my bike at the outdoor tables, instead of having to constantly glance outside from an inside table.
Somewhat conflicted. The guy running this sandwich shop knows how to grill a sandwich to the perfect thoroughness and texture and consistency. However, the Reuben we got had like two slices of smoked meat, of which wasn’t particularly flavourful to begin with. Good smoked meat sandwiches in my restaurant history has always had the smoked meat piled on!Yet, there’s so much potential! A small supplier and meat quantity improvement can make such a big difference here!
I found this place through Edmonton's Coffee Passport, and I'm sorry to say, it was an absolutely horrid experience. For starters, the young girl who helped me was so unfriendly... she barely made eye contact, and acted like helping me was the worst thing that had ever happened to her. Then came the drink... a salted caramel latte. At least that's what it was supposed to be. The flavor was 80% salt and 20% plastic... I've never tasted anything like it. I actually threw up my first sip and had to dump the rest. I HIGHLY don't recommend this place.
