Boelekewis - Dworp

We called one day in advance to make a reservation at Boelewis for the following day, but they informed us that they could not find our reservation. Despite the mishap, they apologized and suggested we walk in. The service was average and not very friendly, but the food was good.

This restaurant is not recommended for meat lovers. I ordered my steak rare but it was served medium. The sauce was overly seasoned, giving the impression that it had been sitting out for too long. The overall quality of the dish was disappointing.

My wife and I have been coming here for years. in the week, it's atmosphere and fun. Unlike other brassians, we keep walking around the bosses and talking. In winter there's raclette and fondue, enjoying the terrace in summer. Big disadvantage is the big groups and the walking kids on the weekends.

We'd heard a lot about nonsense and decided to look and taste. Very good. Not the cheapest, but you'll definitely get your money. Sometimes a little loud by walking kids in the hallway.
