Slows Bar BQ - Detroit

Parking is a little difficult and the door is hidden but otherwise it was a good first experience.

Definitely plan ahead and make reservations. Slow's always seems to be packed! The food is outstanding, warm heavy comfort food with generous portions. The waitstaff was prompt and very attentive. Perfect place to celebrate a birthday!

Really great food, tasty. The staff was nice and courteous. The prices are very reasonable.

1st time to Slows and it was very good. I love southern BBQ and it is hard to find a place here in Michigan that is comparable. We had great service John Michael Lee G. who was our server and he was fun! Especially loved the pulled pork, the beans and the sweet potato mash. Green beans were good but not very southern. I would come back and recommend to others.

Awesome! Great food and beer with an enjoyable atmosphere. I’ll be back!
