Restaurant bewertenWent with my wife, 1yo old daughter, 5 yo son, my mom and her sisters and with our friends. Besides the usual tours around Bohol, we alloted one day just to go to the resorts own natural attractions and areas around it. Start your day by scheduling a guided tour to the resort's own cave (Cambagat Cave), the cave is a bit small but is well lit and well maintained, you may swim if you want to, the bats won't mind you. When your done request for a free ride towards the resort entrance. From there you may walk to Bohol's famous Hinagdanan Cave, hire a guide, it's optional but I would really recommended it. Just give a generous tip as he will be your guide/cameraman/director. You'll be safe and have a ton of photos/videos once you go out of the cave. When your done caving, walk back to the main entrance of the resort and request for a ride back to the restaurant by the pool. Since we were wet from swimming at the cave we chose to eat by the pool. We ordered pizza and drinks. We ordered Four cheese pizza for the kids and Ube Salted Egg Pizza for us must try! Next up us snorkeling at the marine sanctuary near the resort. Make sure to reserve your slot a day prior. They recommend for you to go snorkeling in the morning, but since we had a tight schedule we opted for afternoon. The fee includes a short boat ride for six people going to the marine sanctuary, environmental fee, and bread to attract the fishes. Additional persons can join for a minimal fee. You may also rent snorkeling gear or like us, we brought our own. ps. We left our daughter with her grandma at the resort while we were snorkeling, only six of us went snorkeling. After heading back to the resort... try to visit the dream islet as you can catch the sunset there. We went there the previous day so we just went swimming at the pool. The water of the pool is salt water by the way so don't expect to get freshened up with fresh chlorinated water after swimming in the sea. The water in the pool is a bit warm, so it relaxes you a bit. They have two pool areas, a majestic infinity pool near the restaurant and a serene lap pool near the spa. We didn't get to try the spa and other amenities of the resort as our kids just want to swim. Definitely will come back given the chance.
My favourite resort in Bohol. We stayed for a week and it was fantastic. We tried the jacuzzi villas and deluxe rooms, both were amazing. The facilities are great and the staff was amazing. Very attentive and warm. The landscaping is beautiful and the private beach is perfect. The lifeguard Edward even showed us some nice places for snorkeling. It was so pretty and the whole experience was just 100% amazing. Pro tip: call for reservations and speak to the resort directly. They have some older rooms available (not shown on booking websites). These rooms were only 3500 and considering you get full use of the resort facilities and free buffet breakfast, these rooms are a fantastic value for your money. I do recommend renting a motorbike if you plan on leaving the resort. It is nice enough to stay in the resort the whole time but in case you want to try different restaurants or places in Panglao, then renting a motorcycle would be the best option. We love Mithi and I have always recommended it to family and friends.
Given that my dad cannot walk due to a stroke, we were left feeling frustrated and disappointed with the hotel. It's shocking that a restaurant wouldn't have its own restroom facilities, especially one that is not wheelchair accessible and not suitable for older guests. In all my travels, Mithi Resort and Spa has been the first hotel I've encountered that is not wheelchair-friendly and lacks disabled restroom facilities. While the food was enjoyable and the staff were lovely, the overall experience left much to be desired. I cannot recommend this hotel for individuals who rely on wheelchairs or for older guests who are at high risk of falls. Unfortunately, we do not plan to return.
I had a very enjoyable experience at this restaurant. I had seen some reviews mentioning that the shuttle service was delayed or charged extra, but that was not the case for us. The shuttle bus arrived on time at the seaport to pick us up, and it was completely free. When it was time to leave, the shuttle was already waiting for us in the lobby, 20 minutes ahead of schedule. The restaurant served great food that was delicious, and the spa services were both professional and relaxing. The beach and swimming pool were not crowded, and the water was crystal clear. We also saw plenty of tropical fish swimming near the shore. The villa was a bit dated but well-maintained for our stay. Additionally, the Wi-Fi signal was strong.
The view of the sea is truly stunning, but it seems to be the only advantage of Mithi. In our parents' room, the bathroom door was broken, and my mom ended up being stuck inside for 15 minutes. They don't permit outside tuk-tuks to enter the resort, yet there is only one golf cart available on the premises. When we returned to Mithi, we had to wait in the rain for 20 minutes at the entrance. Additionally, if you don't request housekeeping, it won't be provided.
