Khai Tam Phan Chu Trinh - Da Nang

The specificities at this place are hotpot and banh xeo. the hotpot was good a huge pot with vegetables, tofu, mock meat and with noodles on the side. but it was the banh xeo, that was the standout; this is one of my favorite location dishes, so I tried it at many Veg sites and that is probably the best I had in there. it is a kind of hearty, crispy pancake made of rice flour mixed with curcuma. this was super crisp and not too oily and served with a really good peanut dimmer sauce and fresh green. from memory it was about 90,000vnd for the two dishes, which is a bargain for so much eating. I was the only not vietnamese here and it was packed at midday, a good sign!

I discovered this place accidentally while it was closed and decided to come back for dinner. The restaurant was bigger than I expected, quite lovely and all the tables were taken, so that I ended up sharing a table with some very friendly and generous locals. I ordered the rice noodle soup with bamboo, and it was very nice. The other people at the table, who had been chatting with me, invited me to share their mushroom hot pot, which was also delicious. I was told by the owner there is no egg or milk in any dishes. The menu isn't huge, but the prices are very reasonable at around VND15K for a bowl of soup.

To eat my Fav spot in Da Nang, with a variety of dishes and flavors, not to mention the portions are quite good! Everything at a price of 20k -25k I come here all the time for lunch and the food is just better with every bite

The most amazing hot pot for two! They cook it in front of you and could probably serve four people. I was blown away by the simple and local feel, the prices were so cheap and the food was so so delicious! Must try!

I had the cangm đĩa for 20,000 đng and it was varied and delicious.
