Restaurant bewertenNot sure how I've never left a review here yet. I've been frequenting Blue Door for years now. Honestly, nothing has even come close to touching this place for more reasons than one. Absolutely top notch on every level. The owner is awesome. He's great with customers and keeping his restaurant a place people wait hours for. Their head chef is just..... *chefs kiss*. Absolute talented sweet heart. It's not rare to see him walking through the dining room checking on guests. It's just such a welcoming place. All the staff is incredible. I've never had an experience less than perfect. And I haven't even gotten to the food yet. Lord have mercy. I will say, the prices are more than your average breakfast spot. HOWEVER, one taste experience there will show you why. Their food is truly a work of art, created woth local organic ingredients. The portions are enough to feed two or three people. And they're anything from the norm. The specials are always to die for and so unique. If you're a simple person, they have literally the best thick bacon, eggs, English muffins (made in house) I've ever had. I could honestly go on forever, but I hope you'll take the time to find out for yourself!
Amazing food! Ordered the chili pork omelette which was one of the specials for the day. Probably the best omelette I’ve ever had! Staff was also very sweet! I think the owner was hosting the day I came in and he was super kind to my stepmom and I! We will definitely be making it a tradition to dine here regularly!
Fabulous food with a special touch and unique twist. We came at 11:30 a.m. on a Friday and got the last seat for 4 people. They don’t take reservations so you may have to wait, but it is worth the wait. Outdoor seating in warmer weather allows for more patrons. They have specialty teas and coffees. plus champagnes, wines, specialty drinks and beers. Their menu includes breakfast and lunch options such as: starters, tastings, specials, classics, crepes, sandwiches, sides. pastries and desserts. Service was excellent. Food was delicious. I recommend the Blue Door Croissant Breakfast Bowl (I opted for the sausage gravy on the side Their delicious iced tea was made with pineapple and coconut.
This place has no need for good reviews. it must be closed by 2 clocks to get back from the conspiracy of customers. I spent more than $30, but I also ordered the most expensive items on the menu and bought a pale soured brot to go. I bought the faith to spread this phenomenal experience during the rest of the week. it's a great crusty believing the sourded, so my plan is to finish it by french toast and crumb when it turns hard before I have a chance to eat it all. in the future I plan to stop by to at least pickup a laaf and probably one of their phenomenal looking chocolate croissants, if I don't stay the time and eat. I sat at the bar opposite from the kitchen window and everything looked so good that it made me hard to choose a main course from the menu. When the waiter asked me what I will have, I chose the steak and the vulture because what I read at that time and my thought was "how can I go wrong"? it was excellent. next time, I'll go for either her strawberry beer or something with one of her croissants. if you starve, they really don't have to worry about going away unsatisfied or hungry. I propose to order them what seems to be the most chic at the moment. this place is a shade for the common one that serves it.
My wife and I have lived in hawaii, California, Texas and new york, so restaurants are something in which we are a little experienced. this place is truly unique - they can even stand only while waiting for their places. as the food for other mice come, they can see that they are handmade, beautifully assembled dishes of master chefs. the food is of high quality and tasty- we live in brecksville but the trip is absolutely worth it. at least once you have to try.
