Restaurant bewertenIt's very little pricey for what it is. Nothing special, and the batter on the fried gulf shrimp and popcorn shrimp was wildly salty. Plus, they upcharge $2.25 to get a small salad as a side. Quoting supply chain issues. That's more than a head of lettuce. I have lived in Crestview for 10 years now, and this was the first/last time going. I'm told it used to be better...
I've had a long time! the Gouda cheese grooms were amazing! only a great meal with great service! look forward to our next visit!
After living in the #1 seaport New Bedford MA I'm still adjusting to what is served as seafood here! There's a big difference in how it's prepared and what is being served. The calamari rings I ordered were fried to my liking and I asked for tartar sauce instead of the red sauce offered, fries were tasty and crisp. The advertised menu is out of date indicating a calamari plate and only as an appetizer no fries so I share my lunch partners!
The food was absolutely amazing! However, the dishes are smaller portions, so if you are wanting a portion to eat and possibly take home that won't happen. I ordered the shrimp linguini and the flavor profile was delicious. My dining partner ordered the ambassador (fried platter of different items) both plates were enjoyable and the pricing is fair compared to other restaurants like this one. The negative was the noise level, it's so loud in the small dining area that you can't enjoy conversations due to not being able to hear anyone sitting across from you. The music could be turned down a bit. Overall a decent dining experience.
It’s a bit on the expensive side, but the extra cost is definitely worthwhile! I usually order the lunch special, and I really enjoy the Port St. Joe Salad. The place functions as both a restaurant and a fish market, so they offer a wide variety of options, whether cooked or ready for you to prepare at home.
