If you ever wondered how it was like to dine in the 19th century in a mountain wooden house, then this is it. The menu is full of traditional delicacies and runs as a buffet with old fashioned tableware. The starters, main course and the desserts are buffet. I was quite disappointed with the choices. The Main course is one dish only. Normally there should be an option between fish and meat, but in this case there is only one option. The starters are good with enough choice. The desserts are good but if you are not a fan of traditional Portuguese deserts (quite sweet for me) you don’t have many choice. The decoration is nice and the stuff are friendly but not enough to be satisfied with what you pay!

Espaço lindíssimo, muito rústico. O melhor ponto sem dúvida o staff, super simpáticos e muito atenciosos. A comida é muito boa para um buffet,bem variado com muitos enchidos, queijos e outras entradas, e sempre um prato de carne e outro de peixe, e além disso tem sempre carnes á parte. Poderiam variar mais um pouco nas sobremesas, mas isso apenas pelo meu gosto pessoal. O grande ponto negativo é o preço, a minha estadia tinha jantar incluído, e só desta maneira é que vale a pena. Se não estiver incluído na estadia o valor do jantar é 25€ por pessoa, bebidas não incluídas, o que significa que duas pessoas deixam há vontade 60/70€ se beberem cerveja ou vinho. E por um buffet é um valor completamente exagerado e abusivo. Por isso aconselho a quem ficar neste hotel para incluir o jantar na reserva, pois desta forma vale muito a pena.

Comida farta, com aquele carinho de comida caseira. Equipa nota mil, Os donos são imensamente humildes e cordiais. Recomendo a experiência.
