Restaurant bewertenThe best tasting Ceasars Salad you ever ate!!!....Everything they serve is fresh and top notch. They don't call the owner The Wizard for nothing
Cloves catered a dinner that I attended last week. They called it chicken primavera. The dish consisted of mostly pasta with one or two bites of chicken. A light dressing of some kind, and nothing else. It was tasteless, all carbohydrates and the worst food I've had in a long time. Someone certainly needs to educate themselves on balanced meal planning. The Caesar salad was good however, but I certainly wouldn't recommend this restaurant for catering. Save your money and go somewhere else.Maggie
Cloves isn't a restaurant in the usual sense, but a deli with a few tables. We had a great lunch of metzes. It reminded us of our holidays in Greece. Authentic foods - sanokopita, tsatsiki, dolmades .... a good selection of pastas and spices for those who want to cook at home. The host was very friendly and full of advice about home-cooking.
I gave them three chances making a soup and sandwich for lunch. Even spaced out the visits by a few months inbetween to let them hit their stride after opening. Each time I was sorely disappointed. Bread was stale, sandwich ingredients were uninspired and overpriced for what I got. The stock on the shelves were overpriced and can easily be found elsewhere in town, so not really much of a specialty deli. Go somewhere else.
This quaint little deli has a simple menu featuring the best Greek food I have ever eaten. The meals are fresh, home-made, and absolutely delicious! Big Jim, the owner, is warm and friendly and fills the place with charm. There is a great selection of reasonably priced imported foods and Jim offers catering for any occasion.Warmth, charm and excellent food - I love the place!
