Lechlade Fish - Cotswold

Having recently moved to Lechlade we were very keen to try this fish bar. Sadly we were very disappointed.

This Fish Chip shop has now closed, the problem was no parking so lack of customers so the owners who also own Monica's by the traffic lights in the High Street decided to close this one down.

We came across this fish and chip shop as we were getting close to our accommodation for the week, so we decided to stop in. The prices were reasonable and the kids enjoyed their meals. The portions were large, so I recommend that those with smaller appetites order a kids meal. The fish and chips were actually pretty good, although I personally wasn't a fan of the mushy peas.

Paul and his staff are always friendly and serve the best Fish n' Chips in the area. We usually order takeout from them since we live nearby, but sometimes we dine in at their cozy restaurant. Give it a try, you won't be disappointed.

As Belgians, we decided to try the fish and chips at this restaurant. We sat in the back of the shop and were served by a waitress. We really enjoyed the meal, but we found the portion of chips to be quite large.
