Restaurant bewertenMy husband and I have just returned from dinner at this revolting restaurant, this is by far the very worst meal we have had anywhere. There was a complete lack of service, no ice in drinks or any attention given by the waitress after our order was placed. We waited an hour to be served our mixed tapas starter which was stone cold and consisted of what seemed to be turkey twizzlers, soggy spring rolls, some revolting cheese filled batter, again soggy and onion rings which were the only decent thing. We then waited another 30 mins for our main courses, burnt jacket potatoes, dried out salmon and a prime rib which was more like a butchered t-bone, consisting mainly of grizzle, no sauce either, despite ordering. This has to be the biggest waste of money (we did not pay for most of the food, I am talking about the wasted petrol money in getting there) that I have spent in a long time. For anyone considering dining here my tip would be do not bother.
We have stopped in the buffalo Grill for a lunch. We were positive surprised by the atmosphere, service and good choice for steaks! I've ordered the T-bone medium rarer which a very good choice! Very tasteful! Price was very reasonable! Including desert.. I would recommend this place for travelers but also for families with kids.. the place is like in US dinners..
We called in to Buffalo grill for lunch whilst visiting Concarneau. It started to rain so we thought let's have lunch where we know the food is good and wait for the rain to stop then go sightseeing! The food is always good. To start we had the sharing platter, onion rings, chicken wings, cheese balls and a type of pancake roll. For starters we both had entrecote steak one with jacket potato and pepper sauce the other with chips and Rochforte. Both delicious but I have only given 4* because the skin on my jacket was very well done! We also had a beer, bottle of red wine and two cokes. All came to €60. We didn't have desserts as we decided to have that in Concarneau.
We visited Buffalo Grill on the recommendation of a travel rep whilst on holiday near Concarneau. Not being big fish lovers we wanted to have something that our fussy children would like. We were told there would be cowboy hats and English menus but we might have been misled as we got neither. I ordered the Steakhouse burger which was nice if not outstanding. The kids had chicken breast fillet and fries which they both said was really nice. My wife ordered the cheesburger and asked for it well done. It was slightly pink in the middle, I'm guessing the French definition of well done is different to the English. The kids ordered desserts, a rocky road and a chocolate brownie. The chocolate sauce on the brownie contained a large piece of clingfilm. Luckily it was visible so we were able to take it out before it was swallowed. We showed it to the waitress when she collected the plates who apologised but that was all. The four mains, two desserts and four soft drinks came to 68 euros which wasn't great value for money when compared with the 28 euros we paid for a similar amount of food down the road at a McDonalds.
Fairly good value food and drink with a good choice of menu. Rather strange to find this kind of dining in France. Obviously catching up with rest of us. Nothing negative to say
