Applebee's - Columbus

I had a fantastic lunch with my family on Polaris Parkway today. What a pleasant experience! The food was delicious! Yum. I had the Lime Chicken! I highly recommend it. We had 4 adults and 2 children at our party. We ordered 2 appetizers and 4 Entrees with 2 children meals for $100.00. Your "buy 1 appetizer get 2 selected entrees for $25 is a deal. I have to admit I haven't eaten at an Applebee for years. My grandson suggested it because Olive Garden had a 40-minute waiting time... The food was excellent. I'm back with Applebee now. We won this meal!

I decided to just pop into the Applebee's on Polaris parkway to grab a beer and an appetizer. Sitting at the bar was nice but it was cold. I mean the whole time hands were freezing. I ordered the Wonton Tacos and the Tex Mex Shrimp bowl to be keep my meal under 1300 calories along with my Blue Moon Beer. The tacos were delicious and the bowl was a nice new addition to the menu. The actual menu has been updated which was nice as well. The Bartender Jenica was pleasant and attentive. I would recommend stopping in for a look at the new menu. #scotchwithe

I hadn't been here in forever, and this place was still soo good to dine at. The mozzarella sticks are still amazing and delicious. When I ordered my food, I did get the chicken tender meal with fries and broccoli but asked if the tenders could have that honey pepper sauce that had accompanied the tenders in a pasta dish. The waiter said yes, that it would be possible for them to do that. Those tenders were amazing. The sauce was absolutely the right choice being a very mild sweet and spicy mix. The tenders were cooked well. Of course the fries and broccoli were good too. We did go during a low volume period, around lunch.

Service was great and food was good but just kind of felt like an older restaurant. Good meeting place and seems to be fairly kid friendly. If looking for a fairly inexpensive place to eat standard American food we would go here again.

We waited 10 minutes for someone to speak to us at the entrance. The place was empty, and they said the wait time would be 30 minutes! I really liked this place a lot, but lately it's been leaving a lot to be desired.
