Restaurant bewertenStopped here during a great ocean road tour, I had a soup that was just msg broth without any flavor and some krab with a k thrown into it. Quite expensive as well and they don't accept cards.
The soup was shocking, just tasted like water, that had some meat and noodles chucked into it. It was that bad, that I couldn't eat it and had to go up and buy something else to eat. I brought Singapore noodles next, they were just ok, probably about a 4/10. I know this is Colac and you can't expect to get Melbourne quality food in the country, but I would have thought it would have been better than what it was.
This noodle bar was a great find. The shop was clean and the menu had a great selection of various meats, noodle types and sauces. The take-away serving size was large and had a generous serving of chicken and veggies in both the satay and teriyaki chicken.Prices were reasonable. $10.50 to $12.50 for a noodle box and the bundaberg Lemon lime and bitters was $3.50. Service was quick and friendly.Decor in the shop could be updated but otherwise a great 'fast food' option.
This was an early evening stop on the way back to Melbourne from a long day touring the Great Ocean Road. From the exterior, it doesn't look like much. However, the service was friendly and very efficient and our dinners were very tasty and hot, and just what we needed after a long day of being a tourist.
Colac Noodle Bar is a very convenient Asian fast food restaurant. It is clean and staff are friendly. Fried nooles are better than the soup noodle. Strongly recommend Wudong fried noodles.
