Restaurant bewertenDuring a busy time before a show, so I understand the slow service. The food was terrible. Mozzarella Sticks said hand made, but were clearly found something in your food area. Buffalo chicken package was okay. Wouldn't go back here. Probably wait until we get to the stadium.
I 'm rating this place a 5 star because the atmosphere and service are really unmatched.I sent an email in requesting reservations kind of late (sorry about that lol) and they were able to accommodate my party of 7 for my post birthday celebration, before the Hawks game, no problem. I believe it was the manager I was e mailing with and he/she was so kind and accommodating, which is hard to find these days. Our waitress was amazing as well she was so sweet, upbeat and fun! She really seemed to care about her guests and about what she was doing. The restaurant was PACKED because it was pre Hawks game but she held it together well. For food I totally didn 't take any photos (I had 1 too many drinks lol oops) but we tried the big pretzel, Mac cheese bites, chicken quesadillas, meatballs and a margarita pizza. Everything was pretty okay, nothing crazy but really good for your typical bar food. I 'd have to say my favorite was the pretzel and Mac cheese bites! I 'd like to come back and try one of their sandwiches because they all looked really good.I thoroughly enjoyed my time here and it was honestly a really great way to spend a dinner before a game with friends. Very upbeat atmosphere, the music was loud and proud and it was just overall good vibes. I don 't think one person in there was frowning. I will absolutely be back!
We had a great experience here. We made reservations and they were ready for us. They have TV's all over the place and we asked for the Seahawks/49ers playoff game to be put in a couple when it started. They put it on all the TV's and put the sound through the sound system. The service was great, the drinks and beers where great. We had some appetizers and sandwiches and the food was great. The place filled up fast and we had a great time. We absolutely would go back again, especially if going to the UC for an event.
I was extremely disappointed in the service I received last weekend. I set a reservation 10 days in advance. I had a couple of friends visiting from Kentucky, they had never been to Chicago. We arrived 15 minutes early from our reservation to a sign crudely written on the door they were closed for a private party. Waiting for a few minutes, someone noticed us and opened the door. They let us in when I told them we had reservations. After ordering a drink and appetizer, at a minimum, 30 minutes go by before they return to take dinner orders. After placing them, another 30 minutes pass until the server returned with our check and said the food should be out shortly. After paying, probably 10 minutes go by and we finally receive our food. Well, my friends did. Mine didn’t come out for another 10 minutes. All of our food was ice cold, except for my French fries, which clearly were still raw for the most part. During this, they were tearing down the entire restaurant to make space for this party that was going to happen, so we were the only table left standing while we awkwardly ate our poorly cooked food while they stared and wanted us to finish so we would leave.I had been here a few times before and loved it, but this was so disappointing to bring guests here and receive this level of service. Will have to think twice again before coming back.
If you like to experience your sports in a bar, or like to fuel up before attending your sport or show at the UC, then it's hard to beat the Ogden on location alone. Walking distance to the UC, and plenty big enough to accommodate parties of all size. We did not get too far into the menu the night we were there, but what we had was OK. The service was friendly and accommodating. We will def be back for the next UC event.
