Weiterlesen In 2024, I visited this restaurant and had a mixed experience. The staff were pleasant, and the chips and gammon were enjoyable. However, the rest of the meal was disappointing. The steak in the mixed grill was cooked incorrectly - I asked for medium but it was rare and fatty. The chicken breast was dry and squeaky, the sausages were gristly and undercooked, and the mushroom was burnt. My partner had the roast dinner, but found the Yorkshire pudding dry and old-tasting, and the vegetables were barely cooked. Despite my complaints to the uninterested and dismissive staff, nothing was done to rectify the situation. I will be contacting Marstons directly to address my concerns.

The chicken was overcooked and tough, while the steak was too fatty. However, the kebab was delicious and I definitely plan on ordering it again in the future. Julie the manager was extremely helpful and put on pastries tea and coffee. The reception from the staff was very warm and welcoming. It’s was a very pleasant experience after a very sad funeral. Than you to all the staff for the pleasant experience.
