Nuevo - Cehegín

A large group of walkers around the region of Murcia met at this restaurant this afternoon. The place was buzzing. The staff were friendly and attentive and the food was delicious. Due to our numbers we had a set menu which was delicious. We had salad followed by very tender griddled calamari and then a choice of pork or fish and prawns with salsa. I had the fish and prawns… it was delicious! I would not only recommend this restaurant, I look forward to returning to it soon!

Always a varied choice for menu del día here. Busy at lunch time, good portion sizes and attentive staff. Special can be ordered in advance ; lamb shank or goats leg both of which are excellent. Slightly more expensive than the 10€ menu.

Gourmet food for menu del dia. Fantastic meal and friendly service. Four courses plus coffee every one a delight to taste. Please visit this little gem of a bar/restaurant you will not be disappointed.
