Cape Tribulation Beach House Bistro

I ate here a few times while staying at the Beach House. The bacon cheeseburger was so large that I couldn't finish it. The grilled barramundi with chips was excellent, and the chili-topped nachos were tasty and filling. They have a small backpacker menu selection at dinner time that includes an entree and a drink.

After spending a beautiful day in Cape tribulation we stopped in at the Beach house bistro seeking an evening meal. we parked in the carpark and started walking down a path past hidden bungalows in dense tropical forest it felt like we walked for 20 minutes before we came across a large eating area. We ended up just having a beer and worst espresso there was a very limited menu for food so decided to check out the amazing beach and skipped this place. need to do research before going here for a meal to ensure there serving.

We stopped here on our Jungle Adventures tour. I had the kangaroo burger. The calamari the person next to me had also looked good.

We had lunch included on the Tour and we pulled in with a downhill walk towards the Beach for the restaurant. Sadly no beach view but the driver had phoned orders ahead and we were served straight away. we had the BLT wrap and was very nice and hot. all meals were served straight away and everyone enjoyed theirs. all hot despite there being 20 people served at once.

We went to this place as part of a day tour, and I'm not sure if vegan food is offered on the menu (we preordered a vegan meal so didn't see the options available on the menu), but they catered beautifully for us as we had given advance notice. A really yummy wrap, chips/fries (but proper chunky ones, not the usual fries) and a salad. Generous portions. And the location is lovely as well. Right near the beach.
