Windy Corner Stores Cafe - Canterbury

It’s a nice little café, with a decent menu, providing good choices. Unfortunately, for all five of us the food was cold or only slightly warm (except for the good creamed mushrooms). Perhaps we were just unlucky?

The service in Windy Stores is excellent and it has a clean and friendly environment. The food is amazing.

The Windy Corner Stores Cafe is the main reason we came back to Whitstable for a long weekend. It is truly the best place for breakfast, brunch, or lunch for miles around. We visited for breakfast three mornings in a row during our stay in Whitstable because the food is just that good. The menu offers a wide variety of options and everything is cooked, prepared, and presented perfectly. The staff is friendly, welcoming, and helpful. The creamy mushrooms and scrambled eggs were exceptional. We will definitely be returning.

Four of us arrived at the restaurant without a reservation. We were promptly seated by the friendly staff. The restaurant is incredibly charming and adorned with one-of-a-kind vintage items, many of which are available for purchase. I ordered the vegetarian Full English breakfast and it was delightful, especially the braised spinach with root vegetables and creamy mushrooms. I will definitely be returning just for those dishes! My companions ordered the traditional Full English breakfast and thoroughly enjoyed it. Another friend had the scrambled eggs on toast, which was also delicious. The coffee was great as well. Additionally, there is a small window outside where you can place orders and pick them up. I absolutely adore this place!
