Redsalt - Canberra

The Food and service was good but the menu is not as extensive as the one featured on open table which needs updating.

Biggest disappointment was that the menu on this site bore no resemblance to the mediocre menu when we arrived. There was little choice at all. The food was not bad butternut pumpkin soup was very nice, steaks were nicely caramelised and cooked to order. But the bread with soup was rubbery and who wants soy lecithin with milk solids when you can have butter? Vegetables were ordinary. But they did have cream with coffee which was a plus.

The food was beautiful, staff excellent. Easy to book online My husband had the chicken and I had the steak cooked medium/rare and was perfectly cooked.

Friendly staff and delicious food. Will definitely return.

We visited Redsalt before a show at the Canberra Theatre so were only wanting a light meal. We found the choices good for our needs, the staff were excellent and we all enjoyed our meals. It was a good start to our evening.
