Restaurant bewertenDefinitely the flavours are there. The food is very tasty and interesting. Not mind blowing. But the share plate was barely enough for 1 person or maybe 2 people. We had to share it in 5 as it was recommended as 'plenty '. Maybe we were all very hungry. A note on the customer service as well. The staff was lovely but there was no tap water available because the bottles were broken. There were just 2 left, being used by other tables. So we couldn 't have water on our table, and my friends and I had to go and ask for a of cup of water multiple times during dinner. All 'issues ' easy to fix I believe.
The food itself is in order. the only case is the portion size/cost. we still starve the restaurant.
Very authentic Ethiopian food! this small invisible restaurant is a jewel, hidden on one of the busiest roads in Australia! all eating is vegan and everything is incredibly tasty they trust me that they have never tried anything like Ethiopian food. a must visit for every aspiring eating man!
As a food we love to try out different kitchens and Ethiopian was new to us. We were trying to taste “Injera, an acidic fermented flat bread with a slightly sponge texture, traditionally from Teff-Mehl”. it was good. all other dishes of spinach, lenses, mushrooms, rooted were small-ish for the price. very simple preparation, subtle aromen and seemingly light light on bauch. they enjoy Ethiopian coffee both traditionally and spiced and it was good. gf meal and vegan also. would go back to try some other dinge listed on the menu.
Didn't know this was vegan which didn't really matter. The flavours were good overall but thought they could of been more generous with the serving size and would of been great to have unlimited injera pancake). Would I be back most probably not but it was good.
