Olive Garden - Calgary

We went to the olive garden December 19, there was 20 of us ladies, we had made a reservation. The device was good. Most of us ordered the lunch size was pastas, which were was over priced considering how small a portion you get. A number of ladies ordered that lasagna which was a little square of microwaved lasagna.3 of the ladies had never end there to eat and said they would not go back. They could get better pasta at the food fare in a mall. I had the shrimp scampi, it was so salty and the sauce was watery and the asparagus was mushy. I can say that the previous 2 times we have been there since October I have sent back my meal as the meals were not cooked properly.this restaurant as been going down hill since Covid. It used to be out go to restaurant but the food is overpriced and just not that good.

We surprised the Olive Garden team with a large group the other day (they don't do reservations on some days of the week). We had traveled from various locations throughout western Canada to have dinner at this exact Olive Garden, because it's tradition, and they've never failed to feed us well. Although we understandably had to wait a long, long, looooong time for a table, we were incredibly impressed by the service and support our group received once we got in. It made the wait worth it. Thank you Olive Garden. The children, adults, and small handful of international students all loved the food and enjoyed the energy of the team who served our group.

The server I had, she was so amazing and attentive. Honestly one of the best servers I've ever had. Unfortunately the food wasn't that good. The sauce didn't have much flavour. To be fair, I have celiac. But why was there just one dish available? I thought in thus day and age, there would be more options for me. Also I don't know why the front area lobby smelled weird.

We tried Olive Garden for the very first time and were really disappointed. We weren’t able to dine in due to being in hospital so we ordered take out.My husband’s steak was tiny. Less than a 6oz as advertised and the pasta was so bland and not a great portion. Definitely wasn’t worth the price we paid.I had the masala pasta which was tasty but was not creamy and thickened with so much corn starch. The soup was exactly the same.We won’t be returning with the value for money wasn’t there.

Ricky was amazing! Something went wrong with the meal and instead of making it a big deal he just went and got the manager. The manager came and apologized! Like I get it stuff happens. The level of service was better than most places I have been recently. Ricky was so nice to my daughter. Acknowledged that she was there! Congratulated us! She is only 4 months old but he gave lots of compliments! I don’t generally leave reviews because my service standards are high but honestly both the manager and Ricky need to know how well they do their job
