Restaurant bewertenMy friend and I met for breakfast in Bolton and while living in Aurora and Brampton respectively, we don't really know Bolton all that well. We searched for a good breakfast place to chat and eat and came across this restaurant on the main street in town. A cute, clean place with a really delicious breakfast for each of us, cooked to order. Great friendly service. My friend had eggs and bacon, I had the peameal plate. It was so cozy and was a great start to a cold weekend morning. We will be back.
Bolton's most passed Restaurant - Slow down & go in sometime its worth it! Don't pass this place again.....Slow down the next time and go in. Sadly I was one of those people for my first 12 years in Caledon and I finally stopped and have loved all of my visits to date. Great for Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner. Amazing Halibut Fish & Chips. Their prices are great too. The owners work hard at making every meal to your liking and offer a nice personal friendly touch. Just go to the counter, order & pay, they will bring it to your table. It is a grill and very simple decor inside. If its not broke don't fix it. They have a nice following. I love to support the local restaurants since Bolton has lost so many. The Riverside is A+ and the owners and the staff are super!
Run down but clean restaurant. Order at the counter and they deliver. Hubby had breakfast- Ham and eggs. Real potato has browns! I had a gyros. Big portion. Good but not outstanding. Good value for the money. Service friendly and speedy. Not a fancy place
I may prefer Symposiums batter better - but If I want fish I go to riverside grill The service is pretty good - and while the décor itself trends to run down I cannot stress this enough Halibut is awesome!
I would love to give a review of the entire menu at Riverside, but we go just for the halibut and chips. And the Greek salad. The fish is always delicious. Crispy batter on the outside with a solid filet of halibut on the inside. Even the picky children in this house absolutely love whenever we have a fish and chips night. It is not the cheapest, but halibut never is and the taste makes it worth it.
