Absolutely amazing food the best meal best I bar my wife cooking, but then no one cooks like my wife again. really friendly welcomed time to chat and feel us to lightness can not recommend this place enough. simply a great place to enjoy good company and good eating

Brilliant! today for lunch the place was rammed. the renter made a super effort and offered us the couch area of the bar. that was a great gesture to impress us. eating was amazing, my wife said that the fish cake for dying and the crumbs on the desert was great. all mixed with super service and good beer. well made maypole really extraordinary.

On Saturday my sons were here on the 30th birthday. there were 22 of us and everyone was very friendly and accommodating. the renter even had a birthday shot with my son. the personal needed time to make sure everything was perfect. what a great place. I would recommend it very much. many thanks to all at the maypole. x

A little jewel right in front of our doorstep. amazing eating. beautiful attentive friendly staff and a great atmosphere. steak night is a must-have 2 10oz rump steaks with home made twee. chips mushrooms and tomats and a bottle of wine for only £25.

Oh my god. How amazing. Ate here for the first time on Sunday and wasn't disappointed. From the moment we walked in to the moment we left we felt welcome and at home. The staff were fantastic, said hello to my to 1yr old and even addressed her when bringing her food out. The food was amazing! The service was friendly and despite it being a busy Sunday afternoon we weren't kept waiting around for courses. Couldn't recommend highly enough and can't wait for a return visit.
