"The location is beautiful and the food was okay ,but the service was mediocre bread in a brown paper bag was carelessly placed on our table its was awkward we did not know what to do it, and was not appetizing at all. Our waiter...did not bother to check on us after the food was served ,water or drinks were never refilled. We were charged for wine that was ordered but never received The place is in a beautiful setting ,unfortunately the service and miserable atmosphere lets it down"

"It's easy to miss the turnoff to this place, but well worth stopping for. Perched at the top of a narrow, winding road, the peace and quiet of Vattagne make it a rewarding stop. The service is charming and attentive; the food is simple and authentic. Nice outdoor seating area. The indoor dining room is a bit dark in the evening, but candles make up for that. I felt transported back to an earlier era before Ticino became so popular and touristy. If you're looking for a quaint, family-run place that serves authentic local dishes, go see Eros and Tati at Vattagne."

"Wir haben wieder das Tatar im L'impronta genossen. Leider ist das nur noch bis zum Ende des Jahres möglich. Also wer es noch nie genossen hat, die Zeit ist knapp. Wir werden alles daran setzen, dass das gestrige Tatar nicht unser letztes im L'impronta war."
