Cook O'Burra

This cafe/restaurant was absolutely amazing! It's not every day that a staff member in a small country town goes out to the front of the building with your pizza order and EFTPOS machine because you got stuck on the phone.

It was busy when we called in so made a booking to come back later. Food was excellent and plentiful.

This is a cozy takeout spot with a laid-back atmosphere, serving delicious homecooked food that was just what I needed after being on the road for days. My group ordered the Seachest meal pack, Cookaburra Burger, and hot dog. The prices were reasonable, the food was freshly cooked, and the portions were generous. The staff was also incredibly friendly and welcoming.

If you're looking for a great meal, be sure to check out this welcoming spot. The food is outstanding, the service is top-notch, and you definitely won't leave hungry after dining here. The meals are made with fresh, delicious ingredients and there's plenty to go around. Keep up the great work, guys. It's even better than typical pub fare.

Called in Yesterday and had a Steak Sanga, beautiful it was. Very tender meat. Lots of people there as a lot of the shops in Burra close early pm its a strange place for a Tourist Town, they seem to only want to open on weekends to suit themselves. Not so the Cook O Burra, it was very busy. The staff are very friendly and actually seem to enjoy what they do which is more than I can say for another shop in Burra. The menu is large and he prices 30% less than comparable food in Clare.
