Restaurant bewertenMet a few friends here for drinks and tacos. It?s nice that you can have a light meal and some good drinks if you want. Plenty of salt on the margaritas if that?s your thing. Tacos were great. Just the right size so order plenty and try them all.
Im always in forest hills and finally decided to try it out. It said it opens at 11 am. So I went there at 11:15 am and still wasn?t opened. So I ended not eating there that day. The following week after work, I decided to give it another shot. And now it One spot you need definitely need to try! The menu is limited but all of their food is fresh and flavorful. We ordered: corn esquites Al pastor tacos Carne Asada Pollo yucateco taco Norteña Gallo
I contemplated writing this review because I really don't enjoy negative reviews however it's my duty to the Yelp community to advise and inform. An alarm went off in my head when on 6 pm Friday I entered and witnessed more employees than patrons dining. This is Forest Hills and a beautiful afternoon so no reason why it would be so empty but I went against my better judgment and decided to give it a go and let's just be frank, I wasted money on 4 midget sized, overpriced,
Its Forest Hill is difficult with parking. I walked by on a hot day and felt this place had good air conditioning so I sat down and made one of the worse decision in my life. Not only was the food not good, it was expensive. The beer batter taco was acceptable but the price doesn't justify the portion served. I would have eaten a seafood buffet for the price else where It was very unsatisfying. There are many food trucks serving more delicious food than here.
The place is new, well decorated, and stylish. Food was good. However the retro table that we were set at, needed a good wiping. It had brownish stains that were pretty easily coming off, once touched. The staff was nice and attentive, however the seating wasn?t the most comfortable. Stools that have no back part aren't the most inviting. In general we liked the visit, but I don't think I will come back.
